After several unsuccessful attempts to contact the various offices in the Maldives, Karl Heinz Michael sent this l etter to Amir Amin Didi on August 5, 1958, requesting Maldivian stamps. He was looking for a correspondent with whom he could exchange stamps and books
President Amin Didi had passed away in 1954 and when the letter was delivered to Malé, the Maldives was under the government of Sultan Fareed Didi (Size: 11.6" X 8.2") Germany - letter (Foriegn)
