1958މ އޯގަސްޓް 5(1378ހ މުހައްރަމް 19)ގާ، އައްސުލްތާނު މުހައްމަދު ފަރީދު ދީދިއަށް، ޖަރުމަނުވިލާތުގެ 'ކާލް ހައިންޒް މައިކަލް'، ރާއްޖޭގެ ސްޓޭންޕްއަށް އެދި އެކިއެކި އޮފީހަށް ސިޓީ ފޮނުވާ އަދި އެއްވެސް ޖަވާބެއް ލިބިފާނުވާ ކަމާ، އެހެންވެ ދިވެހި ސްޓޭންޕް އެއްކުރާ މީހެއްގެ އެޑްރެހަކަށް އެދި، އަދި މުއާމަލާތަކީ، މައުލޫމާތު އިތުރުވެ އެއްޗެތި ދަސްވާނެ ކަންތައްތައްކަން އެއީ އޭނާ ގަބޫލުކުރާ ކަމެއްކަމުގާ ބަޔާންކޮށް، އޭނާޔަށް އެކަހަލަ ދިވެހި ބައިވެރިޔެއް ހޯދާދެއްވުމަށްވެސް އެދި، ފޮނުވާފާވާ ސިޓީއެއް. He was looking for a correspondent with whom he could exchange stamps and books
