1923މ ޖުލައި 17(1341ހ ޒުލްހައްޖު 3)ގާ، ޝްރީލަންކާގެ ކޮޅުނބުގެ ކޮލޯނިއަލް ސެކެޓްރީގެ އޮފީހުން، އެ އޮފީހުގެ ސެކެޓްރީ(ނަމެއްނެތް)، 1923މ މޭ 7(1341ހ ރަމްލޯނު 20)ގާ ރާއްޖެޔަށް ޒިޔާރަތްކުރި 'އިންވެސްޓިގޭޓާ' ކިޔާ އިނޑިޔާ މަނަވަރެއް('ރޯޔަލް އިންޑިޔަން މެރައިން ޝިޕް') ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގާ ހިންގަމުންދިޔަ، ސައިންސީ ހޯދުންތަކަކާ ބެހޭގޮތުން، ރާއްޖޭގެ ސަފީރު، އަބްދުލް ހަމީދު ދީދީ، އޭޕްރިލް 17ގާ ފޮނުވާފާވާ ސިޓީ، ކަމާބެހޭ ފަރާތަށް ފޮނުވިކަމާއި، އޭގެ ޖަވާބު ލިބުނު ކަމާއި، އެޖަވާބުގާ އެދިފާވަނީ؛ އެ އުޅަނދު މާލޭގާ އޮތްއިރު ރަދުންނަށް ޒިޔާރަތެއް ނުކުރެވުނީ، އެއުޅަނދުގެ ކޮމާންޑަރަށް އެކަން އެގޮތަށް ކުރަން އޯޑަރެއް ކޮންމެވެސް އޮޅުމަކާ ހެދި، ނެތުމުން ކަމާއި، އޭގެ ފަހުން އެކަހަލަ ކަމެއް ވިޔަނުދިނުމަށް، އެފަދަ އޯޑަރުދީފާ ބާއްވާނެ ކަމާއި، އަދި ގޮނޑުދޮށުގާ ޖަހާފާވާ ފާހަގަތަކަކީ، އެ އުޅަނދު، ސަލާމަތްތެރި ކަމާއެކު ދުއްވޭނޭގޮތް ހެދުމަށްޓަކާ ޖެހި އެއްޗެތި ކަމާއި، އެ ދެކަންތައް، ރާއްޖޭގެ ރަދުންނަށް އަންގާދިނުމަށް އެދި، އެސަފީރަށް، ލިޔެފާވާ ސިޓީއެއް.A letter sent to to the king explaining that the intention of a ship entering Maldivian waters is conducting scientififc research, conveying apologies that they did pay a customary visit to court upon arrival in the Maldives, due to a miscommunication on protocol.
